HEX-STOOL
hex-stool is a modular hexagonal chair that can be used to make creative, educational, and collaborative spaces dynamic and adaptable. made of a single piece of injection-molded eva foam, its form is designed to fit a cubic foot area to maximize adaptability to children and those with mobility issues.
the hex-stool's form is simple yet intentional; it features a 1x1 edge that serves as a subtle suggestion as to the chair's orientation and support. at each end of the edge is a small notch that would connect to another chair's base trim.

the elegant arrangement of the connective pieces allows hex-stools to be connected in numerous arrangements, yet at the same time be effective as a standalone stool.
FORM EXPLORATION
using solidworks, i was able to iterate multiple different possible forms for a modular mini-seat. i considered top surface area, connection method, seat height, comfort, and overall aesthetic beauty.
